Reindeer Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (130 g) wheat flour
  • 4 scoops Juice PLUS+ Complete Chocolate
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 125 g butter (room temperature)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ginger bread spice mix
  • 125g icing sugar
  • 1.5 tablespoon lemon juice

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 190 degrees.
    In a bowl, whip butter until fluffy then add honey and eggs.
  2. Gently stir in the vanilla, baking powder, cinnamon and ginger bread spice mix.
  3. Add flour and Juice PLUS+ Complete Chocolate.
  4. Mix until you have smooth dough.
  5. Cover in cling film and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  6. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface, then cut with a reindeer shape cutter and place on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 5 minutes and when done let the cookies cool down.
  8. Meanwhile, mix icing sugar and lemon juice.
  9. Divide into 3 bowls and add in the brown and red food colouring.
  10. Decorate cookies and enjoy!
