Can I prepare a Complete by Juice Plus+ Shake with water or plant-based milks?
- Yes, you can, but when you prepare a shake differently to the package instructions (e.g. using a different milk or adding fruits/vegetables) it changes the nutritional profile. We recommend that you follow the preparation instructions provided on the product label which results in a ready-to-consume vegetarian drink.
- The nutritional profile of the ready-to-drink Complete Shake is based on the nutrients of both the Complete shake powder and skimmed milk. Preparing the shake with water or a plant-based milk will change the nutritional values of the prepared drink and therefore your overall nutrient intake.
What kind of plant-based protein is in Complete by Juice Plus+ shakes?
- The protein found in our shake powders are sourced from soy, chickpea powder and rice protein.
- Our soy is minimally processed and water-washed, instead of being chemically processed.
